Our patented FIT damping system was first introduced in the prototype Factory 40® RC2 during the 2004 DH race season.

We worked with FOX sponsored athletes to test the system and fine tune the damping. The first production FIT dampers were produced in the 2005 model year in our 40 RC2 and 36 TALAS RC2 models.

We have continued to work with our sponsored athletes and teams to constantly develop and improve the FIT system and we have won countless downhill races and 4 DH World Championships since then.

In 2010 we introduced our DH bred FIT technology to the XC and Trail segments with our FIT RLC dampers.

New optimized fork brace geometry was introduced in 2008. All F-Series forks have a light brace (no webbing) design.

The webbed brace design is found on all other 32 family forks (F29, FLOAT, TALAS, and Vanilla).

Optimized bushing overlap for F-Series provides reduced friction.
