FOX INTERVIEW
FOX Racing Shox is there when “it” counts — what is “it” to you?
Racing
Tell us about your vehicle setup.
We have two DRR Race bikes. First one is a 70cc with AtvFourPlay Suspension and FOX FLOAT X with the DSC upgrade option. Second bike is a 90cc DRR with JB Racing Suspension, and FOX FLOAT X with the DSC upgrade option. Both bikes are powered by Tommy Alley Motors.
What else is in your garage?
A 24ft SleekCraft Powerboat, a Polaris RZR, a Yamaha YFZ 450 (almost mine), and a bunch of mountain bikes.
What's your training regimen?
I mainly train by racing, because I'm racing so often. But I do play Football and Baseball.
What's your typical pre-race meal? Guilty pleasure?
I always eat Fuel Cereal, and my dad feeds me a Powerbar before the race.
Any major injuries, and how did you recover?
None thankfully!
What is your pre-race OCD behavior?
Playing video games in our race trailer.
How do you determine which races to enter each year?
We go where the competition is.
What are some of your best memories?
Winning my first National Title in 2006 on my 50cc quad.
What motivated you to get started racing?
My Dad
What separates you from other professional athletes?
I am more dedicated than kids my age, I always give 100% when I race, and I know when to get serious.
How does FOX Racing Shox contribute to your success?
FOX is my main contributor. They have been with me for 3 years, and since then I have won National Titles every year. Even though I'm only 10, they treat me the same and give me the same attention as the top pro sponsored riders. I am much more confident now with my FOX Shox on.
What would you be doing if you weren't a professional athlete?
Just being a normal 10 year old kid, and not traveling all over the country. Wouldn't be as much fun though, I'm very lucky.
What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
Getting to hang out with all the pro riders, seeing my name and picture in magazines and websites.
What other sports are you interested in?
I play baseball in the Spring, football in the Fall, and golf whenever my dad takes me.
Any advice to the readers dreaming to turn pro?
Ya buy some FOX Shox!
