What's your training regimen?
I do a lot of XC and endurance work in the offseason, and intensity.

Any major injuries, and how did you recover?
I'm just recovering from a broken scaphoid, but now I'm all good.

What's your typical pre-race meal? Guilty pleasure?
I love pasta, and can make a pretty mean sauce.

What is your pre-race OCD behavior?
Nothing much, just try and relax.

How do you determine which races to enter each year?
That's pretty easy, just talk with the team about the events outside of World Cup.

What are some of your best memories?
Winning in Schladming was crazy, then the party after, but I don't remember much about that.

What motivated you to get started racing?
My friends were doing it, and it looked like fun.

What separates you from other professional athletes?
I don't know...I don't wear gloves!

How does FOX Racing Shox contribute to your success?
For downhill, perhaps the most important thing is suspension set up and service and I reckon Fox is the best for that.

What would you be doing if you weren't a professional athlete?
I would be racing motor cross.

What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
The adrenaline rush of racing at the top level.

What other sports are you interested in?
Moto Cross and skiing.

Any advice to the readers dreaming to turn pro?
Just try to have fun on your bike.

How many hours a week are you on Facebook?
Too many probably.

Are you a gamer? What are your favorite games?
Nah, not so much.

All MTB mags.
