The SCORE International Off-road Racing Series is a war of attrition. Racing takes place across hundreds of miles of unrelenting Mexican desert, few drivers can make it across the finish line in one piece. Even fewer have what it takes to claim the top spot.
MCMILLIN CONTINUES HIS DOMINANCE IN BAJA
For Luke McMillin, Baja has become his home turf this year as he continues to prove his dominance. Backing up his victory at the San Felipe 250, he crossed the finish line in Ensenada in first place with a final time of 9:10:54. Averaging 51mph, his #83 truck dashed across technical rock fields, wide open roads, and whoops that would eat your daily driver for lunch. Bryce Menzies and Justin Lofton followed closely behind in 3rd and 4th place respectively.

McMillin’s Mason Truck features a total of 12 FOX dampers, all of which are engineered and assembled in El Cajon, CA. Each wheel, or corner of the vehicle, has a massive 4.4” External Bypass damper, giving drivers the ability to dial in each individual bypass zone. Accompanying the External Bypass is a 3.0” Coil-over acting as the main weight bearing system for the truck. A 2.5” Bump stop rounds out the package, adding a bit of end stroke protection while the truck is cycling through its 36” of rear wheel and 26” of front wheel travel.

LIVE VALVE CONTINUES TO OWN THE UTV RACE
FOX Live Valve equipped UTVs continue to assert their dominance over the field. Branden Sims lead the field in his Polaris RZR, finishing in a blistering time of 10:33:59. Branden was followed closely by Wayne Matlock, Ethan Groom, and Mitch Gurthrie Jr, respectively. In a crowded field, the top 6 UTVs were all on Live Valve, once again demonstrating the systems ability to win races.

Live Valve has been an industry standard on UTVs for almost a decade. Polaris was one of the first OEMs to adopt the system and prove its worth in both racing and with consumers. The system is powered by an algorithm that controls a physical valve in the shocks, opening and losing the circuit based inputs from the vehicle and the terrain ahead. This provides the perfect tune, for every moment, and for every terrain.

Since its introduction to the UTV market, Live Valve has been adopted by FORD in their Raptor program, by other UTV manufactures, and by racers across the globe. Most recently, FOX has released Aftermarket kits for Truck & SUV owners. Live Valve is now offered for FORD F-150 & Bronco, Toyota Tacoma, & Jeep platforms as a bolt on offering. Next up in the SCORE series is the Baja 400, taking place in September. Be sure to tune in for all the exciting action.
