Chad Wienen Returns to The Top Step of The Podium
Both holeshots came from newly-mounted Honda rider, Joel Hetrick. Hetrick finally retired his problematic Kawasaki and it served him well with strong starts in both motos. It didn't take long in either moto for Wienen to make his way around Hetrick and put a gap on the field. John Natalie Jr. dug deep in moto one and found some additional speed to pass Hetrick around the halfway mark and secure second place. In the second moto, Natalie made the pass on Hetrick and was going after Wienen when a mechanical failure ended Natalie's race prematurely.
FOX Racing Shox rider Chase Snapp had a weekend-long battle with his friend and rival Thomas Brown. Snapp put an aggressive pass on Brown to secure fifth place in the first moto. Brown came back and controlled the fourth place position in the second moto over Snapp.
With a Chad Wienen victory, FOX Racing Shox remains undefeated in ATV/MX National racing in 2011. FOX Racing Shox riders are also undefeated in the GNCC series and the WORCS series. This means FOX Shox riders have swept every major ATV national this year!
