10 Days on the Road With Three Girls and a Lot of Experiences.

06.06.12 Last weekend I attend the European DH Cup - iXS Downhill Cup in Leogang, Austria. As this resort will host the World championship at the end of season, there were almost all world fastest riders on the start so the European Cup was in fact the World cup. The track was due to good conditions, very fast, rough and was great fun to ride it. The whole weekend I was feeling great on the bike and at the end I finished in the top 80, which was not with that high competition that bad.

After the race in Leogang we were planning a photo shooting with photographer Justa Jeskova from Whistler and traveling to Val di Sole to another 4X Pro Tour race. Unfortunately we had to canceled the shooting because I got ill so I spent three days in the bed.

In Val di Sole I was thinking if to race or not and save energy for the next weekend. Finally I decided to try it and on Friday I got 5th place in my qualification run. On Saturday I was feeling much better and I was looking forward for racing. The whole track was covered with lot of spectators who did great atmosphere during whole evening. In the quarter-finals just in the last corner I tried to pass the guy on the second place but unfortunately my pass wasnt successful and I finished in the race on the 13th place. It wasnt what I was expecting but regarding my condition I was happy to ride my bike.

Right now Im already in Fort William for another 4X Pro Tour race, so hopefully I will be 100% fit and I will be able to improve my results!
