06.13.12 Mitchell DeJong continued his dominant driving with a win and third place at RedBud MX for the Traxxas TORC Off-Road series in Buchanan, Michigan. The RedBud MX race weekend heckled the young racer with mechanical obstacles ranging from a flat tire to losing 3rd gear and a broken sway bar, but Mitchell took his opportunities & setbacks with finesse to land on the podium in each round. Now tied for the Pro Buggy points lead, Mitchell looks to separate himself from the pack as he heads to the famed Big House, Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, for Rounds 5 & 6 this weekend.
