With DSC, you can adjust the shock's high and low-speed compression damping by simply turning the external adjusters.

For 2010, the championship winning PODIUM® X coil shock gets an all-new aluminum body, improving suspension consistency and performance through superior heat dissipation, and saving weight in the process. We've also reduced friction with a new DLC coated shaft, added Teflon® lined spherical bearings, changed to piggyback body caps on some models and added position sensitive damping one some models which all amount to give the PODIUM X's already legendary terrain-following ability even better performance and enhanced reliability.

Rebound Damping
The rebound knob allows you to tune the damping rate on the extension stroke in order to optimize control in all conditions.

Spring preload adjustability enables you to modify the ride height and optimize set-up for different riders and terrain.
Velocity-Sensitive Damping Control
One of the most significant components in any shock is its piston and valving … they are the heart of any damper. Every shock in our lineup utilizes our race-proven Velocity-Sensitive Damping Control technology. Through the use of different piston flow designs and variable valving specifications, we are able to custom tune each shock for its intended application.
