How does FOX contribute to your success?
The suspension feels amazing and it gives me the confidence to ride, roll over, corner through, and let the brakes off over any obstacles I encounter on the trail!

I race on a 29" Orbea Alma with FOX FLOAT FIT Terralogic fork, Shimano XTR and Pro, Mavic wheels, and Maxxis tires

Creatively balancing 3-4 bike, swim and run workouts every week along with work, family, and quality recovery whenever I can get it!
Any major injuries, and how did you recover?
An achilles injury in running was severe enough that I stopped competing and got into mountain biking! I recovered by discovering and loving another sport!
What's your typical pre-race/event meal? Guilty pleasure?
Quality coffee with my current favourite breakfast: steel cut oats, berries, yoghurt, banana, and peanut butter. Guilty pleasure: anything chocolate!
How do you determine which races or events to enter each year?
As a member of the LUNA Pro Xterra team, I focus mainly on the North American Pro series races and Xterra World Championship. After that it is a mix of mountain bike, road triathlon, and running races that fit well in my schedule.
What motivated you to get started professionally?
I've always loved pushing my limits and competing and having the opportunity to race professionally has been an added bonus! It has definitely contributed to pursing competition longer than I might have otherwise without such amazing support.
What separates you from other professional athletes?
I'm a mom of two young children.
What would you be doing if you weren't a professional athlete?
Not too much differently. I'd still enjoy being a mom, training and racing, as well as working as a mental performance consultant - I would just have time to do a little more of the latter.
What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
Having a flexible schedule!
What other sports are you interested in?
Nordic skiing, running, swimming,
