26" Orbea Alma mtb with FOX FLOAT FIT Terralogic fork, Shimano XTR and Pro, Mavic wheels, 2.2 Maxxis tires

What else is in your garage?
No Garage. Problem. Orbea Alma and Oiz with FLOAT forks and shocks and a new Occam with the 120-150 TALAS, an Orbea Igore cross bike, and a Orbea Orca road bike.... and my husband's bikes.

What's your training regimen?
Train smart, rest regularly, eat lots

Any major injuries, and how did you recover?
nope. knock on wood

What's your typical pre-race/event meal? Guilty pleasure?
Oatmeal with nuts and berries. No Guilt. Eat it all. In moderation of course. But if you're looking to buy me a treat it's dark chocolate covered almonds...

How do you determine which races or events to enter each year?
I choose the races I really want to do, so World Cups and the most fun local races and then if others can fit in and still allow me time to train I go for them too.

What motivated you to get started professionally?
It's the best job in the World.

What separates you from other professional athletes?
An awesome support crew through my hubby, coach and Luna team!

What would you be doing if you weren't a professional athlete?
Working in Health, probably physical therapy and pining for the work day to end so I could go riding/skiing.

What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
Seeing new places with great people.

What other sports are you interested in?
Nordic skiing and 3 day eventing

Any advice to the readers dreaming to turn pro?
Perseverance is key. It may take a long time, but if you're passionate and committed good things can come your way!
