How does FOX contribute to your success?
Keeps me stable and solid on my bike.
Tell us about your bike/vehicle setup.
My TREK slopestyle bike is a full Shimano build with Bontrager bits and FOX Suspension. 4" of travel in the front and rear.
What else is in your garage?
2012 KTM 250 F. A pool table and an awesome bike shop.
What's your training regimen?
Joyride150 Indoor Bike Park. Working out, you know...
Any major injuries, and how did you recover?
Just a broken thumb and a few bonks on the head.
What's your typical pre-race/event meal? Guilty pleasure?
Typical "Pre-contest" meal is something light but energizing. Fruit, oatmeal, eggs, ham, etc...
How do you determine which races or events to enter each year?
FMB World Tour has a list of contests that are ranked Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond. I pick the ones that are most important for me.
What motivated you to get started professionally?
I didn't know that I would become a professional athlete... It was always a dream, and I guess after a good year of contests I'm lucky to hop on board and be a 'pro'.
What separates you from other professional athletes?
Bikes, Sponsors, Mindsets, Contests.
What would you be doing if you weren't a professional athlete?
Probably riding moto.
What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
Being able to keep doing what you love to do and make a living at it.
What other sports are you interested in?
Moto, Snowmobiling, BMX, Skiing/Snowboarding
Any advice to the readers dreaming to turn pro?
Ride your bike every day. Progression creeps up from behind you and gives you new capabilities.
