How does FOX contribute to your success?
I can always count on great support from FOX anytime I need it.

Tell us about your bike/vehicle setup.
A KTM 250 2-stroke, it is the perfect bike to fly through the tight trails.

What else is in your garage?
A KTM 350 and a Gas Gas trails bike.

What's your training regimen?
My training regimen consists of seat time on any bike, either a motorcycle or bicycle. I also like to get out in the redwoods and go running with my fellow competitors Patrick and Brian Garrahan.

Any major injuries, and how did you recover?
I am VERY fortunate that I have not had and traumatic injuries. I hope to keep it that way by staying fit and making smart choices!

What's your typical pre-race/event meal? Guilty pleasure?
I don't have a typical pre-race meal. I would have to say whatever restaurant is closest to the hotel or whatever my step-mom cooks up in the motor home.

How do you determine which races or events to enter each year?
I want to win the District 36 Championship and AMA Hare Scrambles. So that keeps me pretty busy, but in my off season I like to hit the special event races like VCGP, Idaho City, and the Funky Chicken.

What motivated you to get started professionally?
For sure my dad was the one who got me into riding/racing. He was always riding and I had to be just like him.

What separates you from other professional athletes?
I try to be real laid back and low key with my racing. Also, most people don't know I am a part-time student becoming an EMT firefighter.

What would you be doing if you weren't a professional athlete?
I would probably be attending more classes in college.

What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
You are always pushing yourself to do bigger and better things.

What other sports are you interested in?
Anything with a motor really.

Any advice to the readers dreaming to turn pro?
Have fun with it and never forget that's why you ride/race. "FUN."
