How does FOX contribute to your success?
FOX contributes a whole lot to my success, suspension is one of the most important things to be set up right on your bike and I have the best!
Tell us about your bike/vehicle setup.
My setup is on the stiffer side for the high speed WORCS races.
What else is in your garage?
Mountain Bike, Rukus Scooter, and my sxi 750 jet ski.
What's your training regimen?
I train with my boyfriend Travis Coy and we have a trainer Lori Smith who we go to 2-3 times a week and she has us do alot of strength and cardio always something new so I love it!
Any major injuries, and how did you recover?
Nope, thank goodness. I'd say the worst injury I have had was when I broke my collar bone in three spots and sprained my ankle pretty bad. I took the time off that I felt was right to recover and got on back on the bike when the time was right.
What's your typical pre-race/event meal? Guilty pleasure?
A pre-race meal consists of a very good dinner with all the proteins I need and in the morning I will usually have some oatmeal and a banana. When my mom comes she will make us a yummy breakfast sandwich!
How do you determine which races or events to enter each year?
I was signed to do the WORCS and from there I try to get in a couple local D-36 races here and there depending on the WORCS schedule.
What motivated you to get started professionally?
When I was younger I always loved going riding every weekend with my dad and then it turned into going racing every weekend and I was loving it. I decided I wanted to be at the top and that what I did, but I would never be where I am today without my mom and dad supporting me throughout my career.
What separates you from other professional athletes?
I believe I separate my self from other women racers because of my wide range of skills on a dirt bike. I could race Enduro, Endurocross, Motocross, Harescrambles.
What would you be doing if you weren't a professional athlete?
I guess I would be going to school, but honestly I have no idea.
What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
I love meeting all the people out in the industry!
What other sports are you interested in?
