How does FOX contribute to your success?

Tell us about your bike/vehicle setup.
Modified Ford Ranger with a stock 4.0 overhead Cam; Yokohama tires, FOX shocks, Lucas Oil products, Camburg suspension, Currie Rear End, and KC HiLITES.
What else is in your garage?
A pallet of Monster, it's going fast! Way too many Motorcycles! And Big Daddy's restored VW Bug. So much I can't squeeze in my daily drive, a Mercedes ML 550.
What's your training regimen?
Road biking 2-4 times each week, or spin class. I also include some weight lifting.
Any major injuries, and how did you recover?
None, fingers crossed.
What's your typical pre-race/event meal? Guilty pleasure?
In Baja? Guilty, spaghetti and meat sauce with a ceasar salad. Yumm!
How do you determine which races or events to enter each year?
Choose the toughest races with the most competition. Some specialty events if there is good media.
What motivated you to get started professionally?
My husband, Cameron Steele. I knew it was going to be a huge part of our life and I love competition. After my first Baja race as a spectator, I asked him if he would let me race and he did! That was the beginning to many great memories.
What separates you from other professional athletes?
There aren't very many females in Off-Road racing. There aren't any women racing in trucks.
What would you be doing if you weren't a professional athlete?
The dog whisperer
What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
I love the challenge of the Baja races!

Mountain biking
