How does FOX contribute to your success?
FOX builds a top notch, proven product and stands behind it with unmatched service and support! With the addition of FOX, the improvements were immediately noticeable. I picked up an average of 25 mph in the desert, got rid of the rear end kick allowing the car to fly level and eliminated our bottoming issues.
Tell us about your bike/vehicle setup.
Our setup varies per different venues, courses, and tracks. Generally speaking, I prefer a stiffer setup that requires the car to be pushed to work best.
What else is in your garage?
'08 Pro-Mod TJ, '07 Dodge 3500 Long Bed Mega Cab, '97 Ranger Short Course Truck, '84 Scrambler, '57 Willys CJ5, and an '03 TDI for daily driving!
What's your training regimen?
For cardio I either cycle, swim, or run. Strength training consists of mostly upper body and core work.
Any major injuries, and how did you recover?
Nothing as a result of off-road racing. I tore my shoulder labrum playing college hockey. I recovered through surgery and lots of therapy.
What's your typical pre-race/event meal? Guilty pleasure?
Pre-race I try to eat something high in carbohydrates, low in protein, fat, and fiber.
How do you determine which races or events to enter each year?
If you want to be the best you have to beat the best. I go where the competition is.
What motivated you to get started professionally?
Always striving to be the best.
What separates you from other professional athletes?
I am one of the youngest drivers in my sport with a privateer team of volunteers that spans over five states.
What would you be doing if you weren't a professional athlete?
Working to get there!
What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
Living the dream.
What other sports are you interested in?
Ice Hockey, Snowboarding, and Cycling
