FOX allows me to perform at the highest level by providing me with the best equipment possible. In racing, it's crucial to trust and believe in your equipment.

What else is in your garage?
Dirt bikes, mountain bikes and tractors.

What's your training regimen?
Riding, cross-country mountain bike racing and cycling.

Any major injuries, and how did you recover?
Tearing my ACL was my worst injury. I spent a lot of time cycling to keep my cardio up and strengthen my knee.

What's your typical pre-race/event meal? Guilty pleasure?
I eat a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on a race day. My guilty pleasures are Hot Stuff hawaiian pizza and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies.

How do you determine which races or events to enter each year?
I form my schedule around the tracks and events I like to race at.

What motivated you to get started professionally?
The thrill and challenge of racing.

What separates you from other professional athletes?
That's a hard question because if you're a professional athlete, you've worked really hard at your sport to be where you're at. I take my job very seriously on every level and know the importance of bring prepared.

What would you be doing if you weren't a professional athlete?
Graphic Designer

What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
Meeting and working with great, motivated people.

What other sports are you interested in?
Cross-country mountain bike racing and cyclocross.

Any advice to the readers dreaming to turn pro?
Work your butt off, then work harder. Nothing in life is free, especially in racing. If you work hard, it'll pay off.
