2018 GRIP Remote Topcap Interface Part Installation

Supplies Needed

  • 2mm Hex Wrench

NOTE: Actuate the release lever with the suspension unweighted for immediate changes between damping settings in Push-to-Lock configurations. Actuating the release lever with the suspension under load may cause a slight delay transitioning between damping modes.

GRIP Remote Installation (Rider's 1 o'clock cable exit)

The video below guides you through the installation of the 2018 GRIP Remote Topcap Interface Parts with the cable exit at the rider's 1 o'clock position. This shows you how to correctly setup the topcap interface parts so that you are ready to attach a remote. All pre-2020 GRIP remote fork dampers are setup in the Push-to-Lock configuration.

The video below guides you through the installation of the 2018 GRIP Remote Topcap Interface Parts with the cable exit at the rider's 7 o'clock position. This shows you how to correctly setup the topcap interface parts so that you are ready to attach a remote. All pre-2020 GRIP remote fork dampers are setup in the Push-to-Lock configuration.
