MOUNTAIN BIKE SUSPENSION SERIVCE

FOX Suspension Service

To have your product serviced by FOX, you need a Return Authorization (RA) number issued by the FOX Factory.

Please start this process by clicking FOX's "Online RA Request Form" button below.

Based on the product being serviced and your location, FOX will inform you to ship your product to one of the FOX Service Centers listed below.

To assist us in quicker processing, please mark the RA number clearly on the outside of the package.

Standard Service

Performed according to current in-house turnaround times. Available at East and West Coast Service centers, submit RA Request »

Expedited Service

Moves your Service to the front of line once it is received at Service Center. There is an additional $50 fee that will be added to your Service Charge for this option. Available at East and West Coast Service centers, submit RA Request »

FOX Service Appointment (FSA program)

Guaranteed 1 day in house turnaround based on a scheduled appointment. You must call 800-369-7469 X 4533 to schedule this Service Appointment (not available through on-line RA form). Only available at the West Coast Service Center currently. There is an additional $75 fee that will be added to your Service Charge for this option.

FOX REGIONAL TECHNICAL CLINICS

SUSPENSION SERVICE

Fork Factory Service $175*

  • Thorough inspection of fork for damage and/or wear.
  • Complete tear down and rebuild of damper, including new seals and oil.
  • New dust wipers and foam rings.
  • New air piston and air piston seal (F-series and FLOAT models).
  • Rebuild TALAS system with new seals and oil (if applicable).
  • Fork bushings will be replaced when deemed necessary.

Rear Shock Factory Service $145*
(Slightly higher for Brain, Nude, DRCV, and DYAD)

  • Thorough inspection of shock for damage and/or wear.
  • Complete tear down and rebuild of damper, including new seals, oil, and nitrogen recharge (for models requiring nitrogen charge).
  • New air seals (if applicable).
  • New Eyelet Hardware is available upon request at an additional charge.

Transfer Factory Service $90*

  • Complete overhaul of Seat Post internals
  • All seals replaced
  • Damper re-bled with new Damper oil
  • Will look and perform as new

*Price may be higher if product is severely damaged and requires replacement parts that will exceed original estimate. FOX will call you with a revised estimate for your approval prior to work being started. Credit Card information for payment of services will be required at the beginning of the service. US only. SERVICE INTERVALS

RECOMMENDED MINIMUM FORK MAINTENANCE
  Every Ride Regularly Every 125 Hours/Yearly, or whichever comes first.*
Clean exterior with mild soap and water only, then wipe dry with a soft towel.    
Check sag and damper settings. Inspect your product for visual damage and function of all controls.    
Full fork service (Full internal/external inspection, damper rebuild, air spring rebuild, bath oil and wiper replacement)    
RECOMMENDED MINIMUM SHOCK MAINTENANCE
  Every Ride Regularly Every 125 Hours/Yearly, or whichever comes first.*
Clean exterior with mild soap and water only, then wipe dry with a soft towel. Inspect your product for visual damage and function of all controls.    
Check sag and damper settings. Inspect your product for visual damage and function of all controls.    
Full shock service (Full internal/external inspection, damper rebuild, air seal replacement for air shocks)    
RECOMMENDED MINIMUM TRANSFER MAINTENANCE
  Every Ride Regularly Every 125 Hours/Yearly, or whichever comes first.*
Clean exterior with mild soap and water only, then wipe dry with a soft towel.    
Inspect your product for visual damage and function of all controls.    
Full Transfer Seatpost service (Full rebuild)    

*For those who ride lift-accessed DH, Park, or Extreme Freeride or in extremely wet/muddy or dry/dusty environmental conditions where trail debris is sprayed onto the fork or shock while on the trail, FOX encourages riders to perform maintenance earlier than recommended above as needed. If you hear, see, or feel something unusual, stop riding immediately and contact a FOX Authorized Service Center for proper servicing.


Pro Tip: To maintain a level of performance achieved by Factory Pro Riders, more frequent maintenance than suggested above can be performed, if desired.
